Almond milk is a popular drink consumed by individuals around the world. Obtained from almonds, this plant-based milk is enjoyed for its delicious taste, high levels of nutrition and as an alternative to milk and other dairy products. When consuming almond milk, try to consume varieties that are unsweetened, as they can be quite high in calories and sugar content. Now, lets discuss some of the amazing health benefits of consuming almond milk consistently.
1. As mentioned previously, almond milk is a great source of nutrition and contains many different vitamins, minerals and other nutrients. It is a good source of potassium, magnesium, iron, calcium, vitamin B6, niacin and riboflavin. As well, it contains food amounts of fibre and is quite low in calories.
