영국 출신 배우 겸 가수 제인 버킨 별세
Singer, actor, and fashion icon Jane Birkin has died at the age of 76.
Local reports say she was found dead in her home in Paris on Sunday, local time.
Born in Britain Birkin found fame in France in the 60s and permanently moved there in 1970.
She was best known for the iconic 1969 soundtrack "Je T'aime moi non plus" which she recorded with French singer-songwriter Serge Gainsbourg.
But because of the song's overtly sexual lyrics it was banned on radio in several countries even drawing criticism from the Vatican.
Birkin also gained notoriety for appearing naked on screen in the 1966 film "Blow-Up".
Also a fashion icon she's known to have inspired the Hermès Birkin handbag.
