Four robots are used to deliver meals to people who have close contacts with patients of the novel coronavirus in a hotel in Guangzhou City, south China's Guangdong Province.
The hotel in Yuexiu District in the city is used as a quarantine receiving people coming from major epidemic areas. Before the robots joined in the meal delivery, ten staff take turns to deliver the three meals for every guest and they consume 10 sets of protective suits every day.
Luckily with the help of the robots, there only needs one staff to operate the robots, saving the manpower and lowering the risks of cross infection.
