On the new series of Symphony of the Seas we find ourselves in New York City!!! A bucket list visit for Schooner Dad, before embarking on a new sailing of our favorite Royal ship (and the first one the kids have been on twice). We check out the JW Marriot Essex house, see some major attractions in the city, and have a mouth watering dinner at Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina. We have breakfast at the hotel and then head to Cape Liberty NJ for embarkation. We do a little exploring of the ship, do a cruise day lunch at Jamie's Italian, and watch the ship sail away under the Verrazano Bridge. So much jam packed in the first episode of our new adventure!
