As rolling blackouts continue, African Energy Week 2022 is seen as significant for South Africa and the continent. The African Energy Chamber is hosting African Energy Week in Cape Town this week. Energy ministers, policymakers companies and investors from across the continent are being represented. 800 million people across Africa live in energy poverty while Africa has untapped natural gas, solar, wind and hydropower.
