BEST things to do in SHILLONG | Umiam lake , Cafe's, Church, Wine Tasting, Cathedral | Must watch 🔥
Hey Guys,
Welcome to the Meghalaya trip series!
In this vlog, i'll take you on a journey to explore the beautiful city of Shillong on our first day of the trip. We started our day with a visit to the stunning Umiam Lake, also known as the "Bara Pani" or Big Water. The serene blue waters of the lake surrounded by lush green hills made for a picturesque view and the perfect spot for some boating.
Next, we headed to the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians, one of the most popular attractions in Shillong. The Gothic-style architecture of the church with its beautiful stained glass windows left us in awe.
After the visit to the Cathedral, we headed to some of the best cafes in Shillong to grab a bite to eat and experience the local cuisine. The cafes were buzzing with activity, and we indulged in some lip-smacking food and refreshing beverages.
To end the day on a high note, we visited a local winery to experience wine tasting. We tried some of the best locally produced wines and learned about the wine-making process.
