In this assignment we have covered ball mill equipment. #Ball_mill is an example of comminution method which produces size reduction by both impact and attirition of particles and factors effecting ball mill include ,material residence time in grinding chamber, size, density and no. of ball mills, nature of material, feed load, cylinder rotation speed but we only focused on rpm and feed load. Ball mill is mostly worked on 65%-80% of critical speed by using critical speed we can calculate operating speed of ball mill. If rpm exceeds from a given range of critical speed then cataracting and centrifugation effect will produce. If it is below from given range then cascading effect will produce, both are undesired. we extend effect of rpm on other equipment #FITZ_MILL in which we focused on rpm and sieve thickness.
