100% Permanent and Total disability, or P&T, refers to veterans whose disabilities are total (rated 100 percent disabling by VA) and permanent (have zero or close to zero chance of improvement). Veterans who are 100% disabled are entitled to certain benefits from the VA, including full medical coverage and a monthly compensation payment. In addition, 100% disabled veterans may also be eligible for additional benefits such as special housing grants and education benefits.
