Vote Leave boss Dominic Cummings was today ordered by MPs to appear in Parliament to be quizzed on claims he broke election rules to win the referendum. The campaign boss - often dubbed the mastermind of Brexit - has repeatedly refused to appear before the media select committee to answer the allegations. Furious MPs today accused him of 'holding Parliament in contempt' by snubbing the request and voted to order him to appear before the committee on or before June 20. It is believed to be the first vote of it kind since 1920, the House of Commons was told. Mr Cummings has accused MPs of 'grandstanding' by holding the debate, but if he refuses to show up he will be found to be in contempt of Parliament.
