Baby Medicine Tips: Best Tips How To Give Medicine To A Baby Or Toddler: Silly Mommy 4 Life
It's never easy tasks giving a baby or toddler medicine. In fact, it can be extremely challenging and you finally come to realize it becomes a big hectic chaos of a mess. In this video, my baby John Junior is 18 months old and he came down with the Flu and was prescribed to take Amoxicillin twice a day for 10 days straight. One dosage 5ml and the morning and the second dosage 5ml in the evening.
Here are some helpful tips I use when I give medicine to my son John Junior
Step 1: Be sure to use a plastic syringe or
medicine dropper.
Step 2: Try your best to position your child
up and in between your legs.
Step 3: Try your best to position one of your
child's arm behind your back, right
underneath your chest and the other
arm you are holding it down.
Step 4: Place the syringe past the teeth.
Step 5: Slowly drip the medicine onto the back
of the tongue. (Side note: Be sure to
give your child liquid to wash down the
medicine).
Step 6. Make sure you do a Silly Dance and
Pat yourself on the back and celebrate!
