The coronavirus has started spreading like a forest fire in the villages across India. Lack of tracing and testing, insufficient medical infrastructure and lack of awareness for both; Covid-19 and vaccination, has led to the widespread cases of coronavirus in the countryside. Mojo Story's Nazia reports from a village in Maharashtra's Nanded to get an insight of the pace of vaccination drive in the area and the awareness of the villagers regarding the vaccination. Nearly 400 people reside in Bavankudakadi village of Nanded. The residents had refused to get their jab of the covid-19 vaccines out of fear that vaccination will bring in more health issues and side-effects. The local health authorities and officials have been trying hard to convince the villagers for vaccination. Many tribal villages in Maharashtra have responded in almost the same way regarding vaccination.
