In the heart of Argentina's fertile Pampas, a stunning piece of land art takes shape: a guitar-shaped forest that stretches across the farmland. This remarkable creation was started in 1979 by Pedro Martin Ureta as a heartfelt tribute to his late wife, Graciela, who tragically passed away during childbirth in 1977. With the help of his children, Ureta planted this living memorial on their farm near Laboulaye.
Visible from airplanes and even from space this green guitar has become a wonder for pilots and passengers flying over the region. However, Ureta himself has never seen his creation from the air, only through photos shared by friends.
