4 years with the Lumix FZ82 | Is it still worth considering or is it obsolete?
It's four years since I purchased my Lumix FZ82 (FZ80 in North America) and it has been a fantastic travel and wildlife camera. However, times change and I can't help notice the march of technology, particularly with the mobile phone and camera manufacturers moving their product lines to be more specialised. Is there still a place for the humble bridge camera like the FZ82 amongst first time camera buyers and photography enthusiasts.
In this video I discus the benefits of a 'stepping stone' camera like the FZ82 and do a real world test with a Samsung S22 to see if the old FZ82 is past its prime and the phone is now King.
