Setup: Yellow ball is frozen to rail at the 2nd diamond. Red ball is frozen to yellow and rail in front of it. Cue ball is one ball away from the rail 4 diamonds away on the long rail.
Inside (left) english curves the cue ball AROUND the red ball in front, grazes the yellow ball behind it and relocates it "just a hair" - enough to achieve a ticky from it off the back short rail.
Torbjorn Blomdahl taught me this crafty shot in the early 2000's. When he described it to me, I really thought it would be impossible. He then demonstrated the shot to me - making it perfectly on the 5th try. You can't beat that.
