The 'Rotate' balance drill is one to try with and without your paddle, depending on how hard you want to work!
Paddlers with good stability can apply more power to move the boat forward, rather than using that energy to keep upright. Good technique also requires body positions and movements that often challenge balance, meaning good balance and technique go hand in hand.
Balance & stability are influenced by lots of factors but like anything if you put in the time and effort practicing you’ll start to see the difference.
