This band from Yogyakarta has been making music for more than 20 years. Since its inception until now, The Rain, which was formed on December 31 2001, is fronted by Indra Prasta (vocals, guitar), Aang Anggoro (drums), Ipul Bahri (bass) and Iwan Tanda (guitar, vocals).

The Rain is the first band in Indonesia to release a new single on the same date and month for three consecutive years. From 2013 to 2015, The Rain released a new single every November 18th. The collaborative single with Endank Soekamti entitled "Terlatih Patah Hati" was released on November 18 2013. Exactly a year after that, The Rain released the single "Gagal Bersembunyi". On November 18 2015, The Rain released the single "Penawar Letih" as the conclusion of the trilogy. The three songs were finally released in physical format via the album Jabat Erat on September 10 2016.

Playing with The Rain, this punk band has been making music for more than 25 years. Now, Rocket Rockers only has three members left.

The formation of Rocket Rockers began with a group of teenagers from the mosque around their housing complex. His initial name was Immortal.President. However, after the release of the word Immortal.President. Enter Ucay as vocalist. Ucay proposed that Immortal.President become Rocket Rockers.

In 2006, Rocket Rockers succeeded in making new history as the only Indonesian band to be included in the world punk documentary film "PUNK'S NOT DEAD THE MOVIE: A Revolution 30 Years In the Making".
