As global temperatures rise, a lot of attention is focused on melting Arctic sea-ice and what it might mean for the global environment. Nearly a quarter of the Earth's surface is perennially frozen, permafrost, much of it in the north and that's begun to thaw as well. But scientist are now worried of the rate at which the ice is melting. Al Jazeera's Daniel Lak reports from Fairbanks.
