We always updating our Step 2 materials to reflect the changes on the USMLE CS exam.
• The current changes on the exam requires the use of Tablets and Imaging Devices to derive your differential diagnosis at least in one clinical encounter. We are already preparing our students on this changes and started with our MAY event.

The 3 components on the grading system of the Step 2 CS exam: ICE, CIS, AND SEP

ICE: Very detailed Patient note evaluation with expanded feedback and focused physical exam technique

P-Note evaluation: We adopt a pre-workshop approach, once you register with Iusmle Course. We begin training you straightaway. We send you a copy of HIGH YIELD CASES. Designed to be studied and compose a Patient Note that would be sent to us for evaluation and feedback. In that way we could get you prepared even before your LIVE Workshop.

Physical exam technique training: we train you on focused systemic precise physical exam that will enable you score high on the exam and safe time for counselling and closing encounter

CIS: We use a standard checklist that mirrors Step 2 CS in every form. We give clear, honest feedback based on case encounters, vitals CIS tips “Fake it till you become it’’

We adopt the most effective checklist that mirrors the Step 2 CS scoring system. We use a-45 point-checklist that we give to the SP’s that when a student misses any step, he/she automatically loses a point on the checklist (very strict)

SEP: 1 on 1 spoken English Training Classes by qualified Americans, designed to improve your SEP in days

QUALIFICATIONS: Classes are taught by well experienced MD’S. Mostly US/Caribbean trained MD’S at the moment
We have about 4 MD’s, one has been an emergency doctor for more than a decade and half, the other, an internal medicine doctor for the past 2 decades in the US, and the others, very Step 2 CS-oriented and have been practicing with ‘real patients’ and teaching USMLE CS students for more than 2 years.

Some of our SP’s are recent ECFMG certified MD’s, as a result give the most valuable feedback based on experience and the expectations of the step 2 CS exam

This is a passionate mission to help growing number of students and doctors (esp. Foreign medical graduates and international doctors) struggling with the Step 2 CS exam.
We have got lots of doctors and students contact us and others on the internet lamenting about failing the Step 2 CS exam. Some even after enrolling for some review courses still fail the exam and have to resit it.
