Bubba catches Rollo and Lamont entering a gay bar and hurriedly alerts Fred.

From Season 3, Episode 6 "Lamont, Is That You?" - Fred fears Lamont and Rollo are homosexuals after Bubba reports seeing them go into the Gay Blade Bar.

ABOUT SANFORD AND SON:
After launching the wildly successful and controversial All In The Family, producer Norman Lear quickly followed it with Sanford and Son. This half-hour sitcom centers around the skeptical and irascible widower Fred Sanford (played by comedian Redd Foxx) and his often frustrated, but tolerant, son Lamont (Demond Wilson). Together they run a family-owned junkyard business in the lower class section of Watts, California. Hysterical and forthright, Fred stops at nothing to get his way and employs numerous ploys to see to it - most famously faking heart attacks whenever he is told something he doesn't want to hear. Despite usually seeing through Fred's antics and yearning to branch out of his own, Lamont can not bring himself to leave his aging father. A huge ratings winner, NBC scheduled Sanford and Son opposite ABC's The Brady Bunch on Friday nights, leading directly to the latter's cancellation in 1974.
