Altea is a small and pretty town, located in the region of Alicante on the Costa Blanca, just 11 kilometres away from the lively holiday destination of Benidorm.

Enjoy this walking tour starting in old town, in the morning, and explore the most beautiful square with the symbol of the city – the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Consuelo Altea ( Church of Our Lady of Consolation of Altea ). Then continue in a maze of steep cobblestone alleys and whitewashed houses, as well as restaurants, shops and cafes. This charming old town is perched on top of a hill from where you will enjoy spectacular views. Then continue down to promenade with many beautiful pebble beaches, and amazingly blue water sea. Repeat this tour again in the early evening and enjoy the vibes in the streets full of people with open restaurants and bars.
