This package includes clips of extreme flash flooding that occurred overnight last night and throughout the day today from heavy rain that brought upwards of 14” To some locations. Specifically, here is the US 301 corridor and the area surrounding Edisto Memorial Gardens. As of 6pm the North Fork of the Edisto has now broken it’s all-time record crest of 14.7’. The river is currently at 14.87’ and it is getting very close to cresting at 7pm local time.
the hardest hit place here is around the intersection of John C Calhoun drive in Stonewall Jackson Street with a CVS, Walmart, and several other Businesses taking feet of water inside of them.
