Cabbage Chapati with Peanut Tomato Chutney l Nutritious Breakfast and Dinner Recipe l Healthy Recipe
Cabbage Chapati is a healthy meal made with cabbage and wheat flour. When your kids are fussy to eat cabbage, this is the best way to make them eat. It makes a wholesome meal when paired with peanut and tomato chutney.
Ingredients ( Serves 8 Chapatis )
For Cabbage Chapati
Cabbage 1 cup
Green chili 1 no.
Garlic 3 pods
Ginger 1/2 inch
Cumin powder 1/2 tspn
Garam masala 1/2 tspn
Pepper powder 1/2 tspn
Salt to taste
Ghee optional
For Peanut Tomato chutney
Peanut 1/4 cup
Red chilli 3 nos.
Oil 2 tspn
Garlic 4 pods
Onion 1 no.
Tomato 2 nos.
Salt to taste
Water if required.
For tempering
Oil 1 tbsp
Mustard 1/2 tspn
Urad dal 1/2 tspn
Curry leaves 1 sprig
Method
For Cabbage Chapati
Blend cabbage, green chili, garlic, ginger, cumin powder, garam masala and pepper powder to a paste.
Add the paste to the wheat flour and knead well.
Seperate into equal balls and dust with flour and roll it to chapatis.
Cook the chapatis with few drops of ghee.
For peanut tomato chutney
Dry roast peanut and red chillies and keep aside.
Add oil and fry onion, tomato and garlic. Add salt and blend.
Add oil and splutter Mustard,urad dal and curry leaves and pour it to the chutney.
