This will be the only loop stage of this 12th edition. Probably the most beautiful special stage of the Rally with a route never taken by the AFRICA ECO RACE. The participants will be really spoiled by what they will see during this unique day with even a little surprise revealed only at the bivouac the day before. After a first half-sand / half-pebble portion, the route will become entirely sandy in a huge corridor alternating between dunes and large sublime spaces. Even if the route will avoid the large dunes, the crossings will not be easy, especially at the end of the route with a long sandy climb between large narrow rocks which could cause a lot of problems in the event of a crash because it is almost a unique track. The last 35 kilometers will be on the same part as that taken in the morning, in reverse.

L'Africa Eco Race a pour ambition de reprendre les valeurs des rallyes raids et de prendre en compte de nouveaux aspects écologiques et environnementaux. Les bivouacs sont choisis loin des villes et des tarmacs d'aéroport, les concurrents se retrouvent en plein désert, loin de tout. Entraide, solidarité, convivialité sont les mots qui reviennent souvent dans la bouche de ceux qui ont vécu cette aventure. Le rallye Africa Eco Race, accueille amateurs et professionnels et se déroule sur plus de 6 000 km. Il traverse les territoires du Maroc, de la Mauritanie et du Sénégal avec l'arrivée au Lac Rose à Dakar.
The Africa Eco Race aims to capture the values of Cross Country Rallies and to take into account new ecological and environmental aspects. The bivouacs are chosen far from the cities and the tarmacs of airport, the competitors find themselves in full desert, far from everything. Mutual aid, solidarity, conviviality are the words that often return in the mouths of those who have lived this adventure. The Africa Eco Race rally welcomes amateurs and professionals and takes place over 6,000 km. It crosses the territories of Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal with the arrival at Lake Rose in Dakar.
