Victoria Liberal MP Richard Riordan asserts there is "no doubt" the party will rally behind Shadow Police Minister Brad Battin following his election as the state’s new Liberal leader.

“The party room was overwhelming, over 70 per cent in favour of Brad,” Mr Riordan said.

“There’s a great group of people alongside Brad that will be able to bring the Opposition Victorians desperately want.”
