Jamie Lee Komoroski, 27, is set to stand trial over a year after a tragic crash in Folly Beach, South Carolina, that claimed the life of a bride on her wedding night and left the groom and two others seriously injured.

Komoroski faces charges of reckless vehicular homicide and three counts of felony DUI for the incident on April 28, 2023. Authorities reported she was driving at 65 mph in a 25 mph zone and had a blood alcohol level over three times the legal limit when her vehicle struck the golf cart carrying the newlyweds shortly after their reception.

The bride, 34-year-old Samantha Miller, was killed in the collision, while her husband, Aric Hutchinson, and two other passengers sustained injuries.
