In January alone, over 30,000 Syrians have fled the conflict in Syria and sought refuge in Jordan's Za'atri camp. UNHCR is assisting refugees in registration and providing emergency supplies. UNHCR and partners are also helping the government of Jordan to expand the Za'atri camp.
