(23 Aug 1972) Two men rob a New York bank and take nine hostages. John Wojtowicz and Salvatore Naturile hold up a branch of the Chase Manhattan Bank in Brooklyn and become the inspiration for the film "Dog Day Afternoon". Also footage of Ernest Aron (Elizabeth Eden), Wojtowicz's partner.
