One of the most barbaric and horrific war criminals of the Second World War was Amon Göth, the Commandant of Krakow-Plaszow Concentration Camp. Göth was known for his evil, and he would execute prisoners with his own rifle and he would run a camp which became infamous for it's brutality and horror. He was the Commandant of the Krakow-Plaszow Concentration Camp, and would oversee the slaughter of thousands.
But at the end of the Second World War, Amon Göth a man who was deemed too sadistic by the SS was arrested and he was brought to trial in Poland. He was sentenced to death for his crimes, and because of this he was then taken to Krakow's Montelupich Prison where he was executed on the gallows.
