Tycho, born with the proverbial silver spoon, was the polar opposite of everything that Kepler's life was. He had aristocratic lineage, was wealthy, received the best education and was Dutch to boot! Tycho's early life was punctuated by astronomical events that were to astound, disappoint and inspire him in turns.
