Llanddwyn Island (Ynys Llanddwyn in Welsh), is located on the south east corner of the Isle of Anglesey. Situated just off Llanddwyn Beach and Newborough Warren, the island is accessible most of the day except for about an hour at high tide.
On the island there are a number of small coves, the remains of St Dwynwen's Church, Tŵr Mawr Lighthouse, and great views of Snowdonia.
Llanddwyn Beach itself is one of the most stunning beaches in Wales.
There is a large car park at Newborough Warren, accessible from the A4080 which in turn is just 15 minutes drive from the main A55 North Wales Expressway at Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch!
