The reason I'm using Zayne is because he happens to have the required colors needed for this fight.
This one was very annoying because of the requirement to break the stone feathers 2x before it would come down. The most I can say here is to use anything you can to take down those feathers quickly but you must save your Ardent Oath for the boss when its shield is down.
