Here is a little tribute to drummer John Firth (of Middleton, Manchester, UK) who died just after Christmas 2022. John was one of the team (which also included Danny Hardman, Roy Costigan and Phil Moore) that organized the Pete Cowap Dusting The Plaque tribute concerts held at the Olde Boar`s Head in Middleton. The first clip is from the 2008 concert with John playing drums with Middleton band String Theory. The second clip is from the year 2000 with John on bongos with Middleton band Acoostica at the Victoria pub in Middleton Junction. Both songs were written by Graham Cooke who is playing and singing with both bands.
In his younger days John played drums with popular local band Powerhouse.
