This is a 4-part tutorial for the knitting technique known as steeking. Steeking is the process of cutting a completed knit garment - in this case, I am cutting a baby pullover sweater into a cardigan.
In this video I demonstrate the third step of steeking, picking up stitches for the button band. I also briefly discuss how I placed and worked buttonholes.
