Planning to freeze leftover fruits for making a smoothie? Learn how to freeze fruits the right and proper way so as to prevent them from sticking together when you're retrieving them!
Steps:
1. Wash, dry and rinse fruits
2. Place them on a flat container with grooves or tray with baking sheet
3. Pre-freeze fruits for 3-6 hours until they are fully frozen. This will prevent fruits from sticking together when you are taking them out
4. Transfer pre-frozen fruits into a larger container and store them in the freeze after!
*For fruits such as bananas, as they would oxidise rather quickly and turn brown, we would recommend using frozen bananas within weeks.
* For other fruits such as blueberries, strawberries, they can be stored up to 3 months.
