The Circle of the Moon Druid had the longest reign as "most powerful subclass in D&D 5e" since the Player's Handbook was first released into the wild. Now that Xanathar's Guide to Everything and Tasha's Cauldron of Everything have been released, this felt like a great excuse to do a re-review of this infamous subclass that has been known to absolutely destroy encounters and explain why the Circle of the Moon remains the strongest frontline character option in Fifth Edition.
