[ Ссылка ] Garmin VIRB Edit software and GoPro video footage using my Garmin 520 (.gpx file) Example cycling in a group ride. If you don't have a VIRB camera you can use your GOPRO footage and a garmin or strava .gpx file for you overlay graphical gauges.
IT would be much simpler to just use a VIRB camera, but I already own the GoPro Hero and FLY6 cameras and use Strava. So here are the main steps I used to make this clip.
1. Start your Garmin Edge 520 or 500 (or Strava App) and start your GoPro Camera at the same time. You can sync it later in the VIRB edit software but it can be tricky.
2. When you're done with your ride, import your video footage.
3. Open the VIRB edit software and import your GoPro footage and data .GPX file
4. Select the Gauges you want to overlay on the video
5. Export the finished video and share it on YouTube or your site of choice.
Bonus step. I then imported the video into Adobe Premier and added the FLY6 Rear camera view as a picture-in-picture. Of course, any video footage would work too.
