Natural high sheen peridot gemstone originating from Pakistan. This weighs 2.10 CTS and has been cut and faceted into a square shape. The measurements are approximately 7.8 x 7.6 x 4.2 mm.
The stone glistens with a metallic looking sheen, and displays a fabulous shimmering effect. The coloring is a bright neon - like green with undertones of gold. This has a highly reflective property and reflects light with a strong internal glow, giving the piece a highly luminecent appearance.
The gem is fully transparent and has very good clarity. There is no major flaws but does have slight natural inclusions found upon close inspection. This can be considered SI clarity. There is no visible damage or chips and is in excellent condition.

In ancient Egypt they were sourced from a volcanic island called Zebragad, and the Egyptians treasured them so much they kept the island's location secret for generations.
