Ingredients:
Oil – 3 tbs.
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp.
Dried red chilli – 2 no.
Curry leaves –
Ginger – One small piece, crushed.
Garlic – 6 to 8 cloves.
Onion – 2 no, sliced.
Green chilli – 3 no, cut into small pieces.
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp.
Kashmiri chilli powder - 2 tbsp.
Tomato sliced – 3 medium sized, sliced.
Fenugreek powder – one pinch.
Pepper powder – 1 tsp.
Coriander leaves
Tomato sauce – 1 tbsp.
Preparation:
Take a sauce pan and heat some oil. When the oil is hot enough, add the mustard seeds and allow them to pop. Then add dried red chilli, curry leaves, ginger, garlic, onion, green chilly, and salt. Saute well in between. Meanwhile you can add turmeric. When the raw smell fades away, add chilli powder. Mix everything well. Then add sliced tomato and salt to taste. The tomatoes will become juicy and start to ooze its moisture. Keep sauteing till the tomatoes are cooked and juiced down.
