The Giants have until March 7th to use the franchise tag on either Daniel Jones or Saquon Barkley, which they're prepared to do according to SNY NFL Insider Connor Hughes. However, Connor reports that it would behoove the G-Men to try to sign both players without using the tag, in order to maximize their ability to spend on free agents and fill out their roster.
