Also known as Body Integrity Dysphoria (BID)--or more commonly known among professionals as BIID (short for Body Integrity Identity Disorder)--this is a rare and strange mental disorder in which patients have an aversion to one or more limbs, or to being able-bodied in a more general way.
The condition has also been referred to as xenomelia and was formerly called apotemnopholia. According to Wikipedia, people with BID "may refer to themselves as transabled".
The condition has been labeled, among others, Amputee Identity Disorder for the fact that traditionally, those suffering from the disorder have sometimes been known to take very drastic measures to remove the offending limb(s).
Syptoms include an overwhelming "desire to have a sensory or physical disability, discomfort with being able-bodied." The condition is most often treated using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
