This test was to show how the streetlight function could be used. I used VE.direct port with a RaspberryPi module relay to turn on/off a light. It can be used for anything not just a light. The RaspberryPi modules are very cheap and a diy cable to connect to the VE.direct port was easily made. This function is not a daylight timer although it has a few features of time estimations. With this module you could drive other relays to handle higher amp draws if needed. I haven't seen much information about the streetlight function other than read the manual stuff so I put this quick video together. Pls don't blame me if those desert rats have light on all night. Plz use with others in mind especially while camping for all of the RVers out there

There are two ways to use this function have something on while there is sunlight or have something off. That something could be anything you may need a light, fan etc. This is based on sunlight so in the winter depending on your location it may need some adjusting.
