Beauty and personal care e-commerce platform Nykaa made a strong market debut on the Indian stock exchanges today. The stock started trading at a premium of over 82% at over Rs. 2000 per share on the NSE. The IPO was subscribed 81.78 times on the last day of subscription. The price range for the offer was between Rs. 1,085 and Rs. 1,125 per share. Falguni Nayar, the founder of Nykaa. is now worth about $6 billion as shares of the firm surged in trade today. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Nayar is now India's wealthiest self-made female billionaire.
