No whisky? What kind of Christmas would that be? But seriously...

What's the last thing you need to add to your Christmas list? More whisky, right? Well, I hear you - but maybe I can still help you. Either because you already have plenty on hand to be getting on with, or because you really don't want to participate in any more bottle chasing. More likely, you've had your eye on at least one bottle of something nice for a while and you're going to use Christmas as the excuse for finally snagging it. Good for you. You hardly need me to do more of what I do most other vPubs, sharing the latest bottles of amber goodness. You probably have that covered.

And yet. What if there were things that could make your bottles taste a little sweeter?

I'll share a few inexpensive items that I think could be nice accompaniments to any whisky collection. With thoughtfulness forefront, these are things that could help you (and your friends and family) avoid any whisky stones ending up in this year's stockings. The only two rules I've set myself here are - No tat! I myself would want it, and it has to cost less than £50.

Easy. I have 5 good ideas.

And I may not be able to help myself share at least one good value bottle for the shelf, if for no other reason than you being able to share something with impunity over the holidays with anyone and everyone. But I'll save it until the end and keep it sweet on price.
