How to Determine the Right Size of your Undermount Sink

Planning on renovating your kitchen or changing your kitchen countertops?

Need a sink and don’t know what size to buy?

In this video we will explain you how to choose the right undermount kitchen sink size

1.Let's find out HOW WIDE IS THE INTERIOR OF YOUR CABINET?

Start by measuring the interior width of your base cabinet. Measure the interior of the cabinet from left to right (A)

GOT A NUMBER?... All right! Right it down

2.Let's find out HOW WIDE SHOULD YOUR NEW SINK BE?
Subtract ½” from the internal cabinet size dimension(A) and you will determine the maximum external sink size (B)

B = External kitchen sink width
From the edge of the flange to the other edge of the flange

LET'S SEE AN EXAMPLE

Lets say you measured the interior width of your base cabinet and you got the number 28 ½”

So you are going to subtract ½" from 28 ½"

Which is: 28"

Therefore 28 inches is the maximum size of sink you can fit in your kitchen cabinet
