Bokeh is a data visualization library that gives you the power of custom interactive visualizations that you can publish on the web but lets you build them in python. It can also be used as an exploratory data analysis tool, and staying in the language of your analysis means that you can move seamlessly into presentation. This can be very powerful. In this talk Sarah will cover the following:

-Some of Bokeh's capabilities for data exploration
-How visualizations can be a tool to present your analysis in a way that is understandable to non-specialists without dumbing down your content
-How to build up your data story with Bokeh
-Building up a sophisticated interactive graphic using Bokeh
