I am unsure if I have pre-maturely labelled this my ultimate Seiko SKX007 mod, however, I am mighty pleased with my modded SKX007. This watch started off as an awesome base, great design, certified 200m diver with history and a following.
However, with the dated 7S26 movement (no hand winding or hacking) as well as a mineral hardlex crystal, I always felt it was just ever so lacking despite it's originally cheap price tag.
Now that it is modded with the new NH36 movement as well as a sapphire crystal (bonus with blue AR coating), I'm feeling might proud of this watch. I'm thinking if I should actually send it back to get it updated to the double domed crystal instead, as well as getting that chapter ring fixed hmm.
