A friend loaned me this 4 Track, 3 3/4 ips tape which I copied to a Scotch Master II C-90 cassette. This is a chrome bias tape. No noise reduction was used (no Dolby).
The tape contained the music from 2 LPs:
"1812 Overture" and "Symphonic Dances"
Felix Slatkin Conducting The Hollywood Bowl Symphony Orchestra
As a rule, I rarely recorded anything on cassette that I wanted to keep of high quality. Since I do not find this music on YouTube, here is the sound from the cassette. Please excuse any dropouts and any loss of quality from the original pre-recorded 3 3/4 stereo tape.
The following was on Side One the original 3 3/4 ips Tape (40:24)
However I did not copy Side 1 of the tape and thus is not on this video.
From LP Overture (SP-8380)
1-Overture 1812 Overture (Tchaikovsky)
2-Light Cavalry Overture (Suppe)
3-William Tell Overture (Rossini)
4-Poet and Peasant (Suppe)
