A wrestler came to Dr. Derm with cauliflower ear. Dr. Derm drains the cauliflower ear of fluid, giving the ear a normal appearance.
Cauliflower ear occurs with repeated trauma to the ear. As the ear heals, normal cartilage turns into a sort of scar tissue, stiffening, and in some cases deforming the ear.
