Before releasing the bomb, it needed to be given a rotational speed of 500 revolutions per minute on the bomb rack. In this way, with the inertia and rotation speed, the bomb would jump multiple times on the surface, effectively avoiding any trap that migh hinder it. It must be said that the inventor of this bouncing bomb was truly a genius.
