In this video I have shared how to do city registration in Germany in the registration office "Einwohnermeldeamt" . I Have explained when to do it, why it is so important, how to get a Bürgeramt appointment and what are the documents you require at the time of registration.

You can do online booking for registration: When selecting the service look for “Meldeangelegenheiten” with your city name to find the option to register to book an appointment.
Once your city registration is done. You will get your tax ID in two to four weeks to your registered address mail box. Make sure you put your name on it. Also, you can go and take your tax ID from “Finanzamt” if you want it earlier.
